Starting today, October 4, 2024, Oh Sugar & Hype Chocolate are launching our special Swiftie Bar—a limited-edition chocolate bar designed for Taylor Swift’s biggest fans. Hidden inside select Swiftie Bars will be Golden Tickets, and those lucky winners can score an unforgettable VIP experience at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Concert! And even sweeter we will be donating $1 from every bar sold to 100.3 The Q and 91.3 The Zones TLC Fund for Kids!

How It Works:

1. Purchase the Swiftie Bar: Available at participating Oh Sugar (561 Johnson St, Victoria BC) & Hype Chocolate (855 E Hastings St, Vancouver BC) retail stores , each bar is beautifully wrapped with Swiftie-themed packaging and irresistible chocolate flavor.
2. Find a Golden Ticket: Inside select Swiftie Bars, lucky fans will find a Golden Ticket. Each Golden Ticket is a chance to win two VIP tickets to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert on December 8, 2024, in Vancouver BC at BC Place.
3. Enter to Win: Every Golden Ticket is an entry into the draw that takes place on November 25, 2024.  Complete the entry details on the golden ticket and drop off to Oh Sugar or Hype Chocolate by 4pm November 24, 2024 to be entered for you chance to WIN one of the most memorable nights in music history.

**Please note as per Ticketmasters' new ticket transfer rules (due to recent account theft), the winning tickets will only be transferred to the winner 3 days (72hours) prior to the concert date (or when Ticketmaster allows transfer to take place).  The Winner must have a Ticketmaster account to be able to receive ticket transfer prior to the December 8, 2024 concert.**

The “Swiftie Golden Ticket” is a giveaway, hereinafter known as the Swiftie Golden Ticket Giveaway, is open to all British Columbia residents 19 years of age or older. If you purchase a Hype Chocolate “Swiftie Bar” at either retail location of Oh Sugar (561 Johnson St, Victoria BC) or Hype Chocolate, 1343562 BC LTD (855 E Hastings St, Vancouver BC) and receive a “Golden Ticket” you can enter to win the Grand Prize by completing the information requested on the “Golden Ticket” and dropping it off to either retailer location. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.

2. GRAND PRIZE

The Grand Prize consists of 2 x VIP Tickets -  “I Remember It All Too Well” Package to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Concert on December 8, 2024 in Vancouver BC at BC Place.

3. GRAND PRIZE DRAW ENTRY DEADLINE

To participate in the Grand Prize draw, “Golden Ticket” winners must drop their completed “Golden Ticket” entry off at Oh Sugar (561 Johnson St Victoria BC) or Hype Chocolate (855 E Hastings St Vancouver BC) by 4:00pm PST on November 24th, 2024. Top Prize winners who do not drop their “Golden Ticket” off by this date and time, forfeit their entry into the Grand Prize draw.

4. GRAND PRIZE DRAW

Top Prize winners who complete the claim and verification process in accordance with these  Giveaway Conditions will be entered into the Grand Prize draw. The Grand Prize draw will occur on November 25th, 2024 at approximately 3:00pm PST.

TO QUALIFY TO ENTER THE GRAND PRIZE DRAW, GOLDEN TICKET WINNERS MUST  DROP THEIR COMPLETED “GOLDEN TICKET” ENTRY FORM BY 4:00PM PST ON NOVEMBER 24, 2024.

Oh Sugar and Hype Chocolate is not responsible for a Top Prize winner not qualifying for the draw for any reason related to a claim or verification process, including, without limitation, a failure to provide identification acceptable to Oh Sugar and Hype Chocolate. 

5. GRAND PRIZE CLAIM

An Oh Sugar or Hype Chocolate representative will contact the Grand Prize winner after the draw. The Grand Prize winner must accept the Grand Prize within twenty-four (24) hours of first contact by the respected representative. If the Grand Prize winner does not accept the Grand Prize within this period,  the Grand Prize is forfeit and another winner will be selected.

 

6. GRAND PRIZE RESTRICTIONS

a) The Grand Prize (or portion thereof) cannot be assigned, transferred, sold, loaned, leased, rented, pledged, mortgaged, or hypothecated in any manner and cannot be exchanged for cash.

b) Grand Prize must be used on December 8, 2024. In the event of a postponement or cancellation of the specified concert date, Grand Prize will be valid for the rescheduled performance until December 31, 2025. If the event is not rescheduled for a date within  this period, the Grand Prize may be issued as a cash prize at the discretion of the Retailer. If the Grand Prize is not used by December  31, 2025, it will be forfeit.

c) Grand Prize winner is responsible for all costs associated with the Grand Prize, including but not limited to any travel or accommodation costs.

d) Grand Prize winner must comply with all other requirements or restrictions of the Grand Prize, as specified by Oh Sugar and Hype Chocolate.

e) Active and retired employees and their immediate families (including but not limited to ‘significant others,’ siblings, parents, children and any persons belonging to the household of the above persons) of Oh Sugar, Hype Chocolate, 100.3 The Q, 107.3 The Zone!, TLC Fund for Kids and their affiliates, any participating sponsors, their affiliated corporations, agencies or agents are not eligible to enter/win the contest.

f) All contestants acknowledge, as a condition of entry in the Swiftie Golden Ticket Bar Giveaway, Oh Sugar, Hype Chocolate and TLC Fund for Kids have the right to publicize and/or broadcast his/her name, character, likeness, voice or all matter incidental herein for publicity purposes without compensation and must sign an affidavit of compliance and waiver of liability releasing all sponsors and promotional partners of the contest.

g) By entering, contestants acknowledge that they have read and accepted the rules as posted.

f) Additions or deletions to these rules and regulations may be made at the discretion of Oh Sugar and Hype Chocolate and may be enacted at any time, without prior notice. All decisions regarding these rules and their interpretations are final.

a) The Grand Prize winner is responsible for themself and all guests gaining access to the Oh Sugar and Hype Chocolate is not liable for the Grand Prize winner or a guest failing to gain access to, or being removed or excluded from, the venue. Venue may restrict access for any reason, without liability.

b) Grand Prize winner is responsible for ensuring all guests comply with any venue instructions, requirements, or restrictions.

The Grand Prize winner is solely and fully responsible for the safety and protection of  themself, their guests, the venue, and the respective property of each of them.

IN NO EVENT WILL Oh Sugar, Hype Chocolate, TLC Fund for Kids, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE  DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES, OR AFFILIATES (TOGETHER, THE “RELEASED PARTIES”) BE  LIABLE FOR, AND EACH GRAND PRIZE WINNER RELEASES THEM FROM, ANY  DAMAGES, LOSSES OR OTHER AMOUNTS OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER, WHETHER  IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH  THIS GIVEAWAY OR THE GRAND PRIZE. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE  FOREGOING, THE RELEASED PARTIES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT, GENERAL,  INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL OR ANY  OTHER LOSSES OR DAMAGES, EVEN IF A RELEASED PARTY SHOULD HAVE BEEN  AWARE THAT SUCH LOSS OR DAMAGE COULD OCCUR.

THE GRAND PRIZE IS PROVIDED ON "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT  REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WHETHER  EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES  OR CONDITIONS, OF TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, FUNCTIONALITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER SHALL INDEMNIFY AND SAVE THE RELEASED PARTIES HARMLESS FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, DAMAGES,  COSTS, OR LIABILITIES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE GRAND PRIZE  WINNER’S OR ANY GRAND PRIZE WINNER’S GUEST’S ACTS OR OMMISIONS IN  RELATION TO THIS GAME OR THE GRAND PRIZE.
